Promotional logo, website, posters, and bookmarks for youth scholarship competition
Seattle-native Stimson Bullitt was a storied businessman, philanthropist, adventurer, community leader and activist, and inspirational figure in the Seattle community for decades. To honor his legacy of leadership, generosity and thirst for knowledge, the Seattle Public Library Foundation created the Stim Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship competition. Students are invited to share personal stories of their own interpretations of the concept of “civic courage” in order to encourage civic pride and engagement.
The comprehensive visual brand we developed for their promotional campaign incorporates imagery that speaks to some of the key concepts of civic leadership and action – activism, literacy, strength, energy, courage, character, and honor.
